Summer is here and already in full swing. We spend as much time as we can outside. Here they are working on their activity books outside. The girls have a list of "Things To Do This Summer". So far we've had lunch outside several times, made cookies, played farm, played games, went to the library, went to the ice cream shoppe, played school, rode bikes, played with side walk chalk, played with friends,
went to the Blank Park Zoo,
and we're working on checking more items off of the list.
Meredith has started Tball. It's just ok for her so far. Meredith is busy, so Tball is a little slow moving for her and she probably needs to be in another level that has a little more action. At bat.
She doesn't like that the helmet is too big because it hurts her head when she runs. So Meredith's solution...I'LL JUST WALK.
No Meredith, you need to run the bases.
WHY, I'M NOT GOING TO GET OUT (there are no outs in this age group)
Then the boredom sets in....
are we done yet?
Everyone else in playing in the dirt, so why can't I?
