Another soccer season. It has been so fun to watch these group of girls grow together as a team. They work really well together and it has been fun to watch their plays work out. Lauren is a defensive player. She knows her position and sticks to it. It was fun to watch her play this season.
Towards the end of the season, they had the opportunity to play inside of Waukee Stadium. We thought it was REALLY cool, but Lauren didn't think it was a big deal. Just another game.
Levi is always there to cheer her on.
It's a good thing that there is a field next to where Lauren plays so Meredith can gather all of the corn.
Meredith told us the other day that she wants to be "a farmer and a vet"
During Lauren's last season game, we experienced the worst weather conditions to date. It was POURING rain! These girls were drenched! I couldn't believe that they played, but they were such good sports and it was fun to watch (for the 1st 20 minutes, then it was cold and uncomfortable). I have some pictures, but I am having difficulty posting them, so I hope to add them later.
Meredith also played soccer this year, but I'm having the same technical difficulties with her pictures.
