Levi, you don't seem like a baby anymore. You are growing and changing so fast. This has been a big month for you. You have 2 more teeth (4 total). You love your baby food and you have added peas, bananas, blackberries, corn, spinach and pineapple to the list. You still prefer pureed foods (3 times a day) and gag every time I attempt something a little more solid. You have tolerated a cheerio or puff on occasion, but you just aren't ready yet. You often refuse your bottles from Dad now (why after this long?). You eat fine at daycare though. Stinker! You breastfeed/eat approximately 5 times a day but smaller amounts. What a sweet face! Who could resist this?
You are SO HAPPY! You easily smile! You laugh easily too! You especially like your feet, armpits and under your chin tickled. You laugh at peek-a-boo. You love to play/knock down block towers. You just laugh and laugh! You laugh at the silliest things. Especially your sisters. Your tolerate their overwhelming love. You are strong! You love to bang on everything..table, window, toys. You think everything is a drum. Your feet move and squirm when you are really excited.
You are quiet and sneaky. Meredith has a Jake and the Neverland Pirates Parrot that is too small for you to play with. It is supposed to be picked up, but life is life and it is sometimes left out. You are always determined to find that parrot and put it in your mouth. You are so proud of yourself when you get it. You love books. You play nicely by yourself. You love to be held. You love to crawl over the to window to look outside or bang on the window. You also like to sit on or by the vents and have the cool air blow in your face.
You love to be outside with the rest of us. Here you are hanging out on the deck while we are playing and eating.
You had your 1st trip to the zoo, which you thought was ok. You preferred to be carried instead of sitting in your stroller.
You also had your 1st train ride while at the zoo. You thought this was pretty cool.
Your mobility has changed so much this month. You started out the month as a new crawler. After your 4th day of crawling, slowly I might add, everything changed. On that day your speed picked up and you discovered the new world. I was not ready. All in one day you crawled over to the vacuum, pulled the cord and knocked it over crashing to the floor. You tried to pull yourself up on the girls' dollhouse and it came crashing down on you. You crawled over to the uncovered entertainment center and pulled the Wii off. You grabbed a DVD (which was out of its case) to play with. You were so proud of all of these accomplishments and proudly clapped with a huge grin on your face every time you completed a new task. You gave me my 1st bloody nose that day also. So....we are now much more baby proofed! Levi has also now learned the meaning of the word NO!
He started the month by pulling himself up on his knees to everything.
and now he is proudly standing up on EVERYTHING! He is so proud. And he climbed up 4 stairs yesterday!!! What a big boy.
