You are such a happy baby! I love your smiles! You mastered clapping this month. You figured out how to go from sitting to your belly and then back to sitting again. You love to be tickled. Your laugh is precious. You love peek-a-boo. You are very laid back.
Your second tooth popped through. You celebrated your 1st Easter. You give THE.BEST.HUGS! You have beautiful blue eyes. You like blocks and balls. You love music and smile when I sing (which I love because the girls tell me to stop). Against your will, you listen to the Frozen soundtrack daily! You like to suck on your upper lip.
You love your swing outside. Your sisters like to push you (maybe too much sometimes :) You often only sport one sock (see below). You always pull your socks off so why even put them on?
You play independently with your toys. You love to empty your bucket and then use it like a drum. You like to bang things together, on the floor, or on the table. Loud noises do not bother you. You don't like to be left alone. You prefer someone to be right next to you. They don't necessarily have to play with you, just be next to you.
You spent the majority of the month trying so hard to crawl. You were very determined and tried for about a week and a half. You kept pushing with your arms, but you would push yourself backwards. This led you getting stuck several times under the couch, a chair, your crib. You did planks for a week, rocking back and forth. Your determination finally paid off when you figured out how to move forward! You were so proud of yourself!
You love your food and you have added mango, apricots, peaches, green beans to the list. You love everything so far. You "practice" drinking from a sippy cup with your meals. You don't prefer to breastfeeding/take bottles as often. You prefer the real food. You eat 3 meals a day of food. You still nurse/take bottles every 3-5 hours, but your volume has decreased. You are very observant of your surroundings and get easily distracted, especially when trying to eat. You don't sit still very much anymore. Your sleeping has gotten better, but stuffy nose/congestion still becomes a nuisance. You went 5.DAYS.STRAIGHT sleeping all night. But not anymore. Your naps are inconsistent due to our busy schedule. You cat nap at daycare. You usually take a 2 hour nap in the morning at home and then the other naps are usually in the car or on the run. You typically get up around 5-6am every morning. You are easy to put to bed. We read a couple of books and then you lie down in the crib, mobile on and you are out or put yourself to sleep. You go to bed around 7:30-8. You are like a tornado in your crib, which is why you often wake up. You hit your head on the side of the crib, scoot yourself through the slats of the crib and get stuck (that has improved now). You roll to your belly and prefer to sleep like that now.
You chew on everything. Sometimes our faces and especially our chins. You grab ahold of everything...remotes, hair, faces, paper, napkins are your favorite. You are very strong. Levi we love you!!!
