We celebrated Clay's birthday on Friday. We were busy on Friday making his cake and cards. When Clayton came home Lauren was so excited to see him and wanted to start the birthday celebration. We still hadn't brushed her hair for the day, so I asked Lauren to go upstairs to get a bow for her hair so we could sing to Daddy and blow out his candles. She was upstairs "getting ready" and we kept yelling to see if she was coming down. She kept saying she was "getting ready". A few minutes later she came down the stairs looking like this (below). She has gotten into my makeup bag (again) but it was so sweet because she was so excited to "get beautiful" all for her Daddy. "Look Daddy, I put makeup on just for you and your birthday. Don't I look beautiful?" Yes, Lauren you look beautiful and gave us a wonderful memory.

If the gymnastics career doesn't work out, she could always do makeup for Lady Gaga. . .
