Why I love a three year old

3 is definitely my favorite age so far. They are independent enough that you can leave them alone to play, but still need the love of you at the same time. My favorite part are the phrases that come out of her mouth. Here a few from the last week.

We were walking to the library and it started to rain. Lauren safe in her stroller says, "This was NOT a great idea!"

My shirt was pulled up a little and the few stretch marks that have suddenly appeared on my belly were showing. Lauren points to the area and says, "So, what is this crap right here?" I guess we better watch how we say things around the Muller house.

When talking to Lauren about when the baby is coming and that Aunt Rachel might pick her up from daycare, she says EXCITEDLY, "Rachel has not picked me up for a very long time." Note: This pick up will be a first time occurrence.

When talking about Nana coming over she says, "Which kind of Nana is coming".

And one of my favorite, "My tummy is growling for cookies mom!"
What a funny girl she is and is so excited for her new brother/sister to arrive. She bought the baby a stuffed dog, which she named Chopper and can't wait to give it to the baby. Will keep you updated.
