Easter

Before Church. I love that my girls like to have their pictures taken! I am so happy that we have such a wonderful place to celebrate Easter. I could have attended all 7 services this season!

Papa Rich & Nana Kathy met us at church. Then we came back to our house for supper and the girls decorated the Easter Bunny with Nana.

Easter Egg Hunt

It was a cold blistery day on Saturday morning, but we decided to head out to our local Easter Egg Hunt (along with the rest of the entire town). I thought since it was so cold and windy there wouldn't be as many people, but we must have all been thinking the same thing. The gloves had to come off for better candy picking. Meredith quickly learned how to fill her basket. She even ended up getting more candy than Lauren. Lauren was so busy looking for her "friend" from school, Alex, that she had a hard time picking up any loot. If you notice, she is so busy looking for Alex that she doesn't look at the camera....and so the fun begins. (On a side note...when I picked Lauren up from school yesterday they told me she fell asleep holding hands with Spencer. Man, are we going to be in trouble)

Easter Bunny

Sorry for the delay in posts...our computer was broken. I will try to catch you all up but it may take a couple of days....

We visited the Easter Bunny this week. What a nice set up they have with the little Easter Village. Lauren was very excited.....

Coloring Easter Eggs

The girls and I decorated easter eggs the other day. Meredith wanted to get her hands on everything and they both did a great job!!!

 

Crazy Hair Day

While celebrating the week of the young child at school..the girls had a ton of fun activities. Monday was Crazy Hair Day! I had high ambitions for Lauren (I really wanted her to sport a faux hawk) but at 5:30 in the morning sometimes I just have to give in. She decided she wanted just 4 ponytails just like her sister!!!

Soccer has begun!!!

Spring soccer has begun!  The weather has complicated this season a bit, but Lauren is loving soccer! What an improvement since last season. This girl is determined!!!

Spring Break

We postponed our trip to Wyoming to ski and took the girls for a fun weekend in Omaha. We went to an indoor waterpark where both girls went swimming as long as we would let them and then crashed at the end of the day.


Then the next day we went to the Henry Doorly Zoo. I have always loved this zoo and it was so much fun going in winter with no lines/crowds. It was a beautiful day to enjoy the zoo!
