Pumpkin Patch

Fall if our favorite time of year! We love the weather, the beautiful colors, football and hunting season. We took a little trip to the Red Rooster Pumpkin Patch near Winterset this weekend and had a lot of fun. Lauren's favorite parts included the tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch and riding the little tractors. Apparently she did not like having her picture taken with us though.

The Muller girls traveled down to Indianola to hang out with the Bardwell boys. They all have so much fun together and play so well together! In the first picture, Eli (5 1/2 months), Lauren (3 1/2 years), and Meredith (1 month). The second picture is Lauren reading to Micah (2 years). How sweet they are!

Dancing the Night Away!

This past weekend we went to a wedding for Clay's friend, Micah. We had lots of fun. Lauren loved swimming at the hotel and she couldn't wait to dance the night away. All was well until Lauren didn't catch the bouquet and then it all went downhill (we left shortly after that).

One month old!

I have survived my first month of life! I am so lucky to have met so many of my friends and family already. I am so glad that I have met all of my cousins and I can't wait to play with all of them as I get bigger. I LOVE to eat and do it well every 2-3 hours all day & night long. I often wonder if everyone can hear me, so that is why my cries are really LOUD! I want to make sure I am not forgotten in the crazy house that I live in. I have been on several walks following my big sister on her bike..she is fast! Most of the time I like them, but sometimes I like to make sure the neighborhood can hear me as I stroll by. I love tummy time and spend most of it trying to lift my head up...man is it heavy. I tolerate all the hugs and kisses given to me by my big sister really well. I have a really sensitive tummy which keeps me awake sometimes, but I love to be swaddled and rocked. I LOVE my swing and bouncy seat..please keep me moving. I have just started smiling when I look at mommy & daddy. They seem to like it so I'll try and do more of it.


Big Girl at the Dentist!
We went to the dentist this morning and Lauren was so brave and sat in the big dentist chair all by herself! The last 2 times we have gone she has sat on mommy's lap and has her cleaning/exam that way. Now we are a big girl and can do it all by myself!

A recent conversation with Lauren...

Melanie: Do you mean wrapped up like a burrito?

Lauren (laughing): Yes a burrito.

Here is my funny girl again. She dressed herself and then came into Meredith's room and said she was ready to go shopping.
